Dental examinations alone aren’t enough to future-proof your mouth, and we encourage you to visit our expert hygienist every six months too. A great way to remind yourself is by scheduling your hygiene appointments and routine examinations together.
No matter how thoroughly you brush, you will always miss something – your brush simply can’t reach all the places it needs to. Our hygienist will clean your teeth with specialist tools to dislodge plaque and tartar from the places you can’t reach. This deep clean will significantly reduce your risk of gum disease and tooth decay, as well as remove unsightly surface stains from your teeth.
We are proud to offer one of the latest teeth cleaning innovations: Airflow Tooth Polishing. Unlike a regular scale and polish, Airflow works by disclosing any plaque and tartar on your teeth with a blue solution before removing them with a gentle jet of water, air and powder particles. It is an effective way to combat stains caused by coffee, red wine and tobacco – leaving your teeth whiter and brighter.
We choose Airflow cleaning because it is quicker and more gentle than other methods, making for a more comfortable experience in the chair – especially for those with sensitive teeth and gums.
Book NowChildren can benefit from having their teeth polished. The hygienist can also apply fluoride varnishes to help prevent decay. The permanent (or ‘adult’) back teeth can also benefit from having the biting surfaces sealed. ” I had a great experience with Ecladent and was very happy with the outcome!
I had two appointments. The first, with Dr. Sam Smith, was a general checkup and overview of my options. She was very professional and knowledgeable, and used an extremely hi-tech scanner to create a detailed, interactive, fully 3D view of my teeth. It even generated a time-lapse, showing how my teeth “could” look in the future, if I opted for Invisalign! Because that treatment is so expensive, I decided to wait several months, but I will definitely consider it next year, if I can afford it.
My 2nd appointment was with Corinne, the hygienist. She and her assistant did a thorough cleaning of my teeth, including airflow polish, followed by teeth whitening. All of my horrible stains and black marks were removed. The whitening process was done in 3 stages, each 10 minutes, with a gum shield held in place as warm LED lights were shone close to my mouth. I never felt any pain or discomfort, and Corinne kept me informed and reassured about what was happening throughout. She and her assistant were very friendly and good-humoured.
In summary, I completely recommend Ecladent and would definitely go back 🙂 “
